Lunch Around The World - To Support The Elton John Aids Foundation

Elton John fans all around the world held functions during different times of the year in their areas to raise money for The Elton John Aids foundation.

Nancy Case,  in March 2002  hosted the first ever Lunch Around The World (LATW) event. Her concept was simple but splendid: get together with your friends around the time of Elton's birthday and raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The idea appealed to many of Elton's fans around the world, and since then LATW has grown and grown. eltonjohn.com and the EJAF thank everyone who organised, attended or contributed to these events. We are especially grateful to Nancy for thinking up the idea, for hosting her own events and for maintaining an LATW overview, and to Gary Yetter for all his hard work and support.

Following is a list of confirmed LATW events for 2006.  Please check and see if there are any in your area that you can attend/or support.  Also, if you have a website or place that you can post this list of events, please do so.  If you can help any of these people with donations or sponsorships in anyway, any and all efforts will be appreciated and acknowledged.

The Third Annual Lunch Around the World - Manhattan Style, aboard the Spirit Cruise for a breath-taking journey around the island of Manhattan, home to one of Elton's favorite concert venues, Madison Square Garden. The 2006 event will be BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER...bigger boat, new sleek dcor, two-level dinning, several outdoor decks. It's the quintessential Manhattan experience.
